The malleable or semi-rigid penile prosthesis, most used implant by urologists, consists of two silicon scapi which are put in the interior of the body cavity. This prosthesis creates a permanent semi-erection and does not demand any special ability from the patient or his partner.

Anesthesia

This surgery can be carried out with local anesthesia and sedation, epidural or rack anesthesia.

Surgery length

The time the surgery lasts is about 40 minutes with the patient being discharged from hospital the same day. Request a week off work and resume sexual activities after 30 days.
