
Blefaroplasty, better known as the eyelid surgery, it is indicated to people withflaccidity and looseness of skin in the eyelid after 40 years of age.

- Avoid heat which can cause swelling; sunbathing must be avoided for 3 months - wearing sunglasses is advisable.
- It is normal, during the post-operatory period, to have edema and red spots as this is a very delicate region, which is why it is necessary to do cold compresses and the use of physiological serum or boricated water in the first days of the post-operatory.
