Victims of aggression in PE have a right to repairing Plastic Surgery

The project, whose author was the counselor Clodoaldo Magalhães, Law Nº 13.300, from 21st September 2008, sanctioned by the Legislative Assembly of Pernambuco, which provides repairing plastic surgery to victims of physical aggression in the State.

Violence affects women from every social class, ethnic group and all ages, causing serious damage to physical and mental health. This is because the physical-aesthetic damage hurts their self-esteem and makes relationships with friends, husband and children, and even looking for a job, more difficult.

The project also guarantees an appointment with recommended specialists and the carrying out of examinations and diagnoses thereby establishing social assistance jobs, psychologists and plastic surgery which women need so much.
